Being homesick and experiencing a cultural chock is not a reason to change families as this is a temporary feeling that will pass and something everyone has to go through.
All families are intensively screened so that they get a win-win situation from the beginning and there are always other au pairs in the neighborhood. However, it can happen that there arise difficulties and then the au pair should talk with her family. Mostly a solution is found through good communication.
If problems are of a serious matter and they cannot be solved through talking or counseling, we will help to find the au pair a new family. Remember though, that this is the very last resort and there should be a really good reason. We cannot guarantee this though.
